“Echoes of the Maritime Silk Road · Artists Unite in Quangang” International Art Exchange Symposium

Guided by the vision of “enhancing the global influence of Chinese civilization and deepening mutual learning among civilizations,” this event is rooted in Quanzhou’s rich cultural heritage as a vital starting point of the Maritime Silk Road, as well as Quangang’s unique integration of mountains, sea, city, and people. It aims to build a high-level international platform for artistic dialogue. Through exhibitions, workshops, and symposiums, the event fosters in-depth exchanges and creative interactions among artists from Southeast Asia, South Asia, and China.

The painters not only took part in plein air creation and exhibitions, but also visited well-known scenic spots in Fujian, including Quanzhou and Xiamen, where they experienced the rich local cultural atmosphere firsthand.

Organizers: Western Returned Scholars Association (Overseas-educated Scholars Association of China) Southeast Asia and South Asia Chapter; College of Fine Arts, Huaqiao University; Quangang District Bureau of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Asia Artists Association, Malaysia (AAAM)
