Ong Wee Chong

Ong Wee Chong currently serves as a council member of the Malaysian Chinese Cultural Association, Secretary-General of the Malaysian Calligraphy Association, and Deputy Treasurer of the Malaysian Artists Association. He has been dedicated to promoting cultural exchange between Malaysia and China and fostering interaction among calligraphers of various ethnic communities in Malaysia, using art as a bridge to enhance social harmony and cultural diversity. His works have been exhibited in numerous national and international art events.

Recent achievements include:

Excellent Award at the 8th International Open Art Exhibition; Finalist Award at the Flourishing Chinese Art 2025 — World Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition; His calligraphy was selected for the 2025 Second International Calligraphy Carnival and permanently collected by the Zhang Hai Calligraphy Art Museum.
