Calligraphy and painting have been an important part of Chinese art and culture since very long ago. This art has become a very precious treasure for all mankind in the world of art. Being inheritors of this heritage, it is a sacred duty of Huazong to continue promoting and propagating this art. This exhibition is specially held to commemorate Malaysia’s 65th Independence Day as well as to celebrate Malaysia’s Women’s Day. This exhibition shall pool together the works of a number of well-known artists and also a series of excellent artworks contributed by the public. Through their highly skillful brushes and ingenious artworks, they show to the world, home and abroad, the variety of cultures and colorful folk customs and add colors and feelings to the life of the people.With red and green elegantly combined and fragrance of ink floating in the air, it is hoped that through this art gathering, artistic literacy of the masses in appreciating the values of art can be further upgraded given the opportunity to view at close range these works of art that come with strangling effort of the artists embedded with visions running across the four oceans.This is a mission entrusted with inheriting this splendid oriental cultures to promote and explore healthy development of the local art world and take it to a greater height.
