In the golden month of October, the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao once again hosted an international art feast—the “Chasing Dreams in the Deep Blue Qingdao International Master Artists Invitational Exhibition.” Over this five-day exhibition, the works of 104 artists from 25 countries, including China, Malaysia, Australia, the Netherlands, Argentina, and Indonesia, were gathered under one roof, showcasing more than 120 stunning pieces. The exhibition brought a diverse array of artistic and cultural expressions, giving viewers a journey through time and across borders, celebrating the universal language and inclusivity of art.
Qingdao, a city rich in cultural heritage and unique marine resources, served as the bridge between Eastern and Western cultures for this exhibition. Each artwork embodied the artists’ profound understanding of nature, the ocean, and life, allowing visitors to feel the artists’ love for and pursuit of a beautiful life. Art, in this exhibition, was not only a visual pleasure but also a spiritual exchange, creating a bond between artist and audience, culture and culture, enhancing mutual connection and resonance.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the supporting units and organizations for this exhibition! Many thanks to the Qingdao Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone Management Committee, the Qingdao Artists Association, Qingdao Art Academy, and Zhongrui Group, as well as other main and co-organizing entities whose strong support ensured the exhibition’s success. A special thanks goes to Zhongrui Group for not only generously sponsoring the exhibition but also for fostering cultural and artistic exchanges through the establishment of the Zhou Shujia Art Museum, which serves as a vital platform for artists to create and showcase their work. In addition, we thank Qingdao No.1 Construction Group Co., Ltd. for their captivating Peking opera performance, which added a unique touch of national art to the exhibition.
The exhibition may have come to an end, but the influence of art will continue to spread. We hope the “Pursuing the Deep Blue” art exhibition will leave a beautiful mark on Qingdao’s cultural landscape and plant the seeds of art in the hearts of its audience. May Qingdao, as a city, become even more charming through art and more vibrant through cultural exchange.
