ANNA KARINA JARDIN

Head of the Philippine Chapter of Asia Artists Association, Malaysia

Anna Karina Jardin is a Manila-born, Malaysia-based visual artist, educator, and children’s book illustrator. Blending Filipino and international influences, she developed a distinctive neo-stylized cubism style. A graduate in Development Policy from De La Salle University, she merges art with community development and cultural diplomacy. Her works explore cross-cultural dialogue, heritage preservation, women and migration, and human behavior, often symbolized through mother-and-child compositions. Commissioned by global organizations and government bodies, her commemorative pieces highlight community building and women and children’s empowerment, with works displayed at the Philippine embassies in Malaysia, Greece, and Spain, as well as the Marawi Sports Complex. She has exhibited widely in Asia and Europe, with her 2023 solo show Tapestry of Femininity in Madrid presented by the ASEAN Committee and Ayuntamiento de Madrid. Jardin continues to create across borders, fusing artistic innovation with social impact.
