Poon Suk Chun

Alice Poon Suk Chun, a Hong Kong native, received her bachelor’s degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Focusing on the exploration of Chinese ink-wash painting. A founding committee member of “The Hong Kong Painting by Local Painters”, who took part in a number of thematic exhibitions as part of “The Best of Visual Arts Scheme”. Biographical sketches of her are found in such books as A Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters and A Dictionary of Modern Artists in the World. Her works have been collected by the University Museum and Art Gallery of The University of Hong Kong and the Three-Su Temple Museum of Sichuan, as well as “The International Art Fair” and individual collectors. She is now the chairman of the Origin Arts Development Society and the secretary of the Hong Kong Artists Society. Published “Hong Kong Nights and Days” (1997) and “Passion for Hong Kong: The Ink Sketches of Poon Suk Chun” (2019).
