Ren Guo Chang (Ren Zhi)

Ren Zhi, born in Beijing in 1956, studied under renowned masters including Wang Xuetao, Lou Shibai, Liang Shunian, Cui Zifan, and Zhang Lichen. A graduate and class monitor of the first Freehand Advanced Program at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, he later served as instructor of the same program at Tsinghua University and as a distinguished professor at Qingdao University of Science and Technology.

A member of the China Artists Association and Director of the Ren Zhi Art Museum, his works have been featured in major national and international exhibitions, earning numerous Gold, Silver, and Excellence Awards. His representative work Spring Returns was selected for the 2nd National Exhibition of Ethnic Minority Art. Ren Zhi has published over fifty monographs and is recognized for his innovative exploration of contemporary expressions in traditional Chinese flower-and-bird painting.
