Uh Meil Ting

is an active participant in both local and international art exhibitions and associations. In 2019, she received the Excellence Award at the Kurume Group Exhibition in Fukuoka, Japan, with her work collected by the Kurume Art Museum. Since then, she has been invited to the Penang Hill Invitational Exhibition (2023), the Hari Landskap Silent Auction organized by the Penang State Government (2024), and was selected for the Penang Ferry Museum Exhibition (2025). Her works often draw inspiration from nature, blending cultural imagery to explore the harmony between life and the environment. They have been published in A Century of Ink Traces and Chaoqing Moy i, a Malaysian Teochew artists’ anthology. For Yu, the meaning of art lies in its constant reminder: life is not only about survival, but also about poetry and creation.
