Zhang Lin

Zhang Lin, born in November 1992 in Shanghai, holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Oil Painting from the College of Fine Arts at Shanghai Normal University. He studied under Professor Hou Wei, Head of the Western Painting Department, and followed the European academic painting tradition advocated by Dean Professor Xu Mangyao. Under their mentorship, Zhang made significant progress in both artistic practice and theoretical research. His works and academic papers have received multiple awards in national and international exhibitions and have been published in leading academic journals. He currently serves as an art teacher at the International Department of Boya High School, affiliated with Shanghai Business and Foreign Languages School.
